A roof ornament of the Longshan temple in Taipei, Taiwan. This (rather large) temple complex is like a little world in the middle of the busy city. I like the stark contrast between the flat and glas panel building right next to the colourful temple building roof. There is no escaping the city. © 2017 Fred S. Wouters

Geometric door frames

This corridor in a small temple in the mountains of north Taiwan had a multitude of door frames; hexagonal, rectangular, round. It kind of reminds me of the interior of a submarine with the highly impractical round door way and the stairs. © 2017 Fred S. Wouters
